This role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced VAT Assistant Manager in the professional services industry to join a strong tax department in Reading.

Description - Handle complex VAT matters for a portfolio of clients
- Provide high-quality advice to clients on VAT issues
- Liaise with HMRC on VAT enquiries
- Support the wider tax team with research and planning
- Contribute to the development of the VAT service line
- Participate in business development activities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VAT legislation
- Mentor junior team members
Profile A successful VAT Assistant Manager should have:
- Ideally CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent
- Proven experience in a VAT role within a professional services firm
- Excellent knowledge of VAT legislation
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly
- Good leadership and mentorship abilities
