Commercial & Industrial Mobile Gas Engineer
East Midlands based – highly mobile
Up to £43,000 per annum, paid travel time, plenty of overtime Permanent mobile commercial gas engineer role, this position comes with excellent benefits including paid travel time, bonus, pension, and vehicle that can be used for personal use. The ideal candidate will be home based within easy reach of the M1 motorway in Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, or Northamptonshire, but on occasions be expected to work nationwide.
The work involves servicing, fault finding, repairs, and installing various types of gas burners (forced draught/package and atmospheric on indirect and direct appliances), gas pipework, and associated gas equipment/controls.
What You Will Need:
ACS qualifications across gas commercial and industrial equipment, applications, and installations such as COCN1 or CODNCO1, ICPN1, TPCP1, CIGA1, CDGA1 & CORT1
Basic salaryUp to £43,000 depending on qualifications & experience.

Overtime Rates:
- Mon to Fri – Time and a half
- Saturday AM – Time and half
- Saturday PM – Double time
- Sunday – Double time
- Travel time – Door to Door paid at the prevailing overtime rate (either 1.5 or x2)
- On-call / standby – 9 days every 6 weeks with a payment of £220
Expectations:
- Basic salary between £33,000 to £43,000 (Depending on qualifications & experience within industrial food process sector)
- There is a requirement to work away, work weekends along with early starts/late finishes.
i) scheduled into a 24-hour on-call rota (average 1 week in 6)
ii) available for up to two Saturdays a month as overtime.
iii) available to work away as and when required
