Job description
Our client is a private bank and wealth management company seeking to recruit a Temporary Corporate Governance Assistant. This role is open for candidates who are either based in Guernsey or Jersey.
Key responsibilities will include;
• Assisting the Company Secretary in preparing the Board packs and agenda, collating documents from internal colleagues/departments, distributing packs via Diligent and preparing the minutes of meetings.
• Coordinating and attending board and committee meetings, when required, in order to ensure that the Legal & Corporate Governance requirements are fulfilled.
• Assisting where required, with projects and day-to-day work from the business.
• Dealing with governance requests from the business.
• Managing and updating the organisation's terms of reference and ensuring all changes are
• submitted for Board approval.
• Updating Board and Committee charters and Corporate Governance policies from time-to-time.
• Dealing with audit request and registry filings and submissions.
The successful candidate will be:
• Ideally someone with 5 years of Cosec experience.
• IT proficient, with experience of multiple data management systems
• Ability to assimilate and handle a large volume of information
• Ability to work to tight deadlines when needed
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a professional manner
