Job description

Civil Engineer

Plymouth

£35,000 - £40,000 plus benefits

This major UK based multi-disciplinary consultancy delivers quality services to clients offering cost effective and sustainable solutions for challenging environments.

Their office in Plymouth continues to win projects, and they are looking to build the team by bringing in an experienced roads and drainage design engineer who has at least 3 years’ relevant experience in the UK.

Career progression is encouraged, and they would be looking for candidates who are incorporated or who are working towards an equivalent professional qualification.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable knowledge of civil engineering and development infrastructure;
• Client liaison skills and familiar with construction contracts and terms of appointment;
• Good knowledge of all relevant sectional agreements such as S38, S278, and more;
• Excellent design skills for roads and drainage across a broad range of sectors.

The successful Civil Engineer will have a degree in structural or civil engineering.
