Job description
Join a successful international multidisciplinary consultancy, focussing on projects throughout the UK. Having recently opened a new Kent office off the back of a successful 2023, my client is looking to bring on a handful of Geo-Environmental Engineers to support the completion of projects across the South East.
The role:
- Phase 1 PRA, GQRA (factual and interpretative) undertaken.
- Complete Remedial Strategies and Verification, as supported by senior staff.
- Supervise site investigation works e.g., trial pitting, sampling, various drilling.
- In-situ testing (CBR, plate loading & soakaways)
- Undertake contaminated land monitoring for vapour, ground gas and groundwater.
- Communicate with internal and external professionals where necessary.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- BSc Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Consultancy, or relevant field
- MSc in contaminated land or hydrogeology related discipline advantageous
- UK-based site investigations for geotechnical and geoenvironmental assessment experience.
- Ability to complete technical and interpretative reports.
- Comfortable working individually and as part of a team.
- Existing knowledge of UK contaminated land and planning legislations.
- Full, clean UK driving license.
