Commercial Manager to work on their newly awarded contract in the
Penrhyndeudraeth areaFor the successful Commercial Manager our client is offering:
- Salary: 80,000 - 85,000 (Negotiable depending on experience & skillset)
- Day shifts
- Permanent role
- Pension with up to 8% contribution from the client
- 25 days holiday + Bank holidays
- Company car or car allowance
- Accommodation provided
- Based on-site full-time
The Role - Commercial Manager:
- To take responsibility for the commercial function on a project or section of a project
- Submit and secure applications to maximise cash income
- Prepare or approve subcontractor payments to ensure compliance with terms
- Produce accurate and timely forecasts and monthly reports to demonstrate contract performance
- Monitor commercial and contract performance to ensure prompt and focussed corrective action
- Systematically review and validate incoming information
- Lead regular commercial meetings internally or with client
What our client is looking for in a Commercial Manager
- Previous experience of managing a commercial team on large-scale infrastructure projects - ESSENTIAL
- A full appreciation of commercial arrangements with the supply chain
- Background in Civil Engineering/Construction - ESSENTIAL
- Hold a current UK Driving Licence
- Have suitable PC Skills using Microsoft office software
