Restructuring & Insolvency Associate/Senior Associate


A highly regarded national firm seeks a Restructuring & Insolvency Associate to join their top ranked team in Sheffield. This is a fast-paced and high-performing team, led by a Partner who is recognised as a leader in the field.


This s a Top 50 Law firm with offices across the country. The Sheffield office itself is vibrant, modern and in the heart of the City's business centre. The Opportunity:


The Restructuring & Insolvency team are looking for an Associate, ideally in the range of 1 to 3 years PQE, however candidates outside this range will still be considered.


The team in Sheffield is led by widely-recognised leader in the field and you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Partner on high profile restructurings, trading/pre-pack administrations and complex corporate insolvency matters. The team advises insolvency practitioners, corporates, boards of directors, lenders, investors and business purchasers across all issues arising as a result of financial pressure and distress.

What they're looking for:


· Qualified Solicitor ideally 1-3 years PQE, but candidates outside this level are still encouraged to apply.
· You will have had exposure to restructuring and non-contentious insolvency work either during your training or after qualification, to include insolvency advisory work, distressed business and asset sales and finance and security matters.
· The ability to work in a fast-paced practice with enthusiasm and passion.
· Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
· The desire to join a growing, entrepreneurial team and be involved in business development.
· The ability to meet client expectations and sound case management skills.
· A proven track record of competent financial management.
