Job description
Axcis are looking for an assertive and clear-headed Teaching Assistant with a calm and empathetic nature to work in a school in a secondary school in Truro working within the SEND department. The school can offer both full and part-time roles starting ASAP or from September.
For this role, we are looking for a fun and energetic Teaching assistant to work with pupils with complex needs, cognitive and learning needs. These students are vulnerable and have faced challenges in mainstream school. The school in Plymouth has a specialised SEND department with resources and support for their pupils who need extra help within schools. You will play a crucial part in helping build their confidence, overcome barriers, and help progress them onto the next step.
