The role
As a Production Supervisor, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll ensure efficient production of vehicles, including the supervision of manpower and allocation of work in an efficient and cost-effective way.
Day to day, you'll complete development and training for direct reports, completion of timesheets and monitoring overtime, deal with disciplinaries, absenteeism and return to work forms, motivate staff to ensure optimal output, deliver weekly tool box talks and you'll work alongside procurement and engineering teams to improve quality, efficiency and processes.
- Management and supervision of HS&E within their defined areas of responsibility
- The accurate recording of Accident and Near Misses on the Synergi Life platform
- Identification of hazards and risk assessment development/review
- Effective supervision of employees to ensure that the Health and Safety Legislative and Company Health standards are maintained at all times
This role is full time typically working Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 2pm, overtime may be available on a Saturday 6am - 12pm and will be based at Walsall on site.
Essential experience of the Production Supervisor: - Experience working in an production line environment
- Experience of leading groups of people
- Proven experience in a management role within a fast paced Automotive / production environment
Qualifications for the Production Supervisor: - NVQ level2 (or proven automotive / engineering experience)
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
