The Recruitment process

The role
The day-based multiskilled engineer's main focus is on the proactive maintenance activities needed to maintain and enhance the equipment assets at our Burton Latimer and Corby sites.
You will provide training and support for the transfer of basic engineering tasks to operators and a team of Apprentices.
At times, there might be opportunities to assist with reactive engineering support in the plant.
The recipe
• Carry out planned maintenance and shutdown activities on plant, including servicing, repairs, overhauls, and condition-based monitoring.
• Adhere to company practices, procedures, and rules to ensure health & safety, food safety, and legal compliance are always upheld.
• Supervise external contractors ensuring they understand and follow company practices, procedures, and rules.
• Report and escalate any equipment issues identified to the appropriate functions.
• Identify opportunities to improve the reliability of assets and engineering working processes.
• Support improvement projects by identifying engineering root causes and carrying out continuous Improvement project work actions.
• Effectively use the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to log and review work carried out.
