Job description
A global leading manufacturer has selected Consilium Recruit as exclusive partner to manage the recruitment of a Site Financial Accountant Lead. An experienced Accountant, you will be responsible for accurately recording and reporting financial operational accounts and applicants are sought who have worked in a fast-paced environment such as manufacturing, engineering, distribution or construction.
Commutable from: Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bristol, Worcester, Sindon, Oxford, Newport, Cardiff.
Salary: £ 45,000 - £ 60,000 + 4 day working week + excellent benefits
Suitable for: Accountant, Management Accountant, Finance Manager, Finance Controller.
The Role
Work closely with the Site Director with costings, forecasts and budgeting.
Key member of the senior management teams to help and improve the business.
Support Month end accounts including balance sheet reconciliations, inventory, accruals, prepayments, data compilation and analysis.
Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts & group reporting.
Detailed Bill of Material and Inventory management.
Support the Group Financial Controller in completing internal and external audit processes.
Calculation, posting & reconciliation of accruals as appropriate.
Fixed Assets reconciliation, calculation and booking of depreciation.
Cashflow reporting and forecasting.
Reporting of Sales & Order intake statistics.
The Candidate
Previous experience at a similar level of accounting role.
Good understanding of Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet Reporting
Experience gained in a fast-paced environment (manufacturing, engineering, distribution, construction, etc)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload.
Excellent Communication skills
Qualified to CIMA, ACCA or ACA
Excellent attention to detail and a good communicator.
