Associate Finance Administrator

Reports to: Head of Finance 

Location: Hybrid (Newmarket) 2-days on-site, 2-days WFH

Hours: 32 hours across a 4-day week 

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000

Product: Group Level, Wonde, Evouchers & Secure Schools

Job snapshot:

As Associate Finance Administrator, you’ll have a variety of responsibilities providing you with the opportunity to explore all transactional areas of Finance. 

We’re ideally looking for a team member who understands the foundations of transactional finance with some experience in accounts payable, however, this is not a deal breaker with the most important piece being the right mindset and willingness to learn. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the success and efficiency of the finance division 
• Act as the first point of contact for any accounting queries, delivering best-in-class support 
• Process supplier invoices, entering accurate account codes before submitting them for approval
• Regularly update finance systems and spreadsheets with comments
• Collect and enter data for various financial reports as and when required
• Respond to supplier queries
• Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with employees and/or customers
• Help oversee and manage individual accounts
• Adhere to the company's financial policies and procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is desirable
• Familiarity with financial software and tools
