Now, we're happy to offer you an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Property Maintenance Manager This is a full-time, permanent position located near the city centre, Edinburgh. You'll enjoy a standard workweek of 35 hours, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. The salary ranges from £28,000 to £32,000.
What the job involves for a Maintenance Manager:-
- Provide professional senior management support to all direct reports ensuring all supervisory processes take place across the whole service area.
- People management to include managing a small team carrying out one to one meeting’s; return to work meetings; performance reviews; disciplinary meetings and ensuring annual appraisals are conducted to a high standard.
- Lead and be responsible for ensuring Service level agreements are meet in relation to our key performance indicators.
- Run an effective process to monitor and report on all maintenance issues through our maintenance platform and making sure these are completed in a timely manner. Review this feedback to devise and implement continuous improvement to drive efficiencies.
- Monthly checks to ensure your team completes all in-house training in line with our WISE values.
- Regularly review and monitor the performance of appointed contractors to ensure they meet the needs of current and future planned and reactive maintenance work.
- Ensure we are delivering to the correct service level and appropriate safety standards. This should also be incorporating DJ Alexander values when dealing with our customers.
- Support the Head of Property Services in setting and monitoring all KPI’s and budgets with quarterly and annual services and improvement plans.
- Provide professional support to all other departments across the business with guidance and support on escalations and improvement matters.
- Ensuring we use Data analysis and forecasting to allow us to have the correct resource in place to deliver the agree service levels.
- Ensure phone statistics are meet and accurate recording of performance.
- Provide support, guidance and coaching to team members to develop their knowledge and encourage their development
- Ensuring the teams are full trained and competent to deliver their roles and responsibilities.
- Produce and adapt training plans for any new starters to incorporate other divisions within the Company.
- Delivering exceptional customer service using data lead intelligence, great leadership of People and technology.

- Ideally previous Property Maintenance Management experience and ARLA/Propertymark qualification but not essential.
- Can demonstrate good negotiation/communication skills and be very competent in resolving conflict and potential disputes – both written and verbal

- Personable character with the ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
