Job description

This is a varied role supporting people within Buckinghamshire to develop their skills and move towards employment. You will be delivering a combination of one-to-one coaching sessions, and group training each week to clients who typically might have been out of work for around 6 months plus.
The charity has an office in Aylesbury, but you will mostly be co-located with partner orgs (job centres, community centres and libraries) across High Wycombe, Aylesbury and Chesham (so a car driver is essential). Each week will vary. But typically, it could look like 2 days of 121 coaching sessions supporting people towards employment or educational courses (so you might help them job search, prepare a CV or review areas of study). And then 2 days ff delivering group work sessions (typically 5 hours a day). The general aim is to teach light touch numeracy skills, based around a course such as cooking, wellness, or digital skills (the content is all set up and ready for you). As mentioned, this role is varied, so each week could look very different from the next. But as an overview, its typically 121 coaching and group delivery.
