The role

As a Research & Insight Analyst at Orbit Group, you will work closely with both the Senior Research & Insight Analyst and the Team Manager to deliver high quality insight, research and analysis, which supports the wider business in making effective evidence- based decisions. We are looking for someone is passionate about data and has an inquisitive mind, that's looking to further develop their skills.

This role offers agile working, meaning you'll be required to travel into our Coventry office for internal meetings on an ad-hoc basis. For the right candidate, we would also consider flexible part-time working opportunities.

This role is part of Corporate Services where you'll help us give colleagues the support they need to be brilliant.

What you'll achieve

Key Responsibilities

Analysing complex data and information from both internal and external datasets, this will include data around customer, asset, staff, business and performance information. 

Supporting delivery of bespoke surveys, conducted with Orbit customers / staff and other stakeholders, including survey design, analysis and reporting of findings.

Working across teams within Orbit to deliver the teams Annual Programme of Research & Insight, this will include developing the research brief, undertaking desk-top research, interrogating data, reviewing trends and patterns and reporting findings.

Presenting data and insight in a range of formats including PowerPoint and Power BI, ensuring that the research outputs are suited to the intended audience.

Keeping abreast with networks to identify and share Best Practice with your team and wider business, and help develop innovative thinking around customer insight.

What you'll bring

Essential skills

Excellent IT skills including all Microsoft packages and Power BI.

Experience of producing presentations for a range of audiences.

Experience of data entry and databases with good analytical skills.

Ability to organise and prioritise work whilst working collaboratively and independently, beholding excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

An understanding of quantitative and qualitative research/survey methods.

Willing and able to travel including attendance at office and meetings.

Desirable skills

Experience of designing surveys using Snap or similar.

Experience of behavioural insights analysis and use.
