Senior Mechanical Engineer
We are on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Mechanical Engineer on behalf of our prestigious client. This pivotal role is centred on enhancing, assessing, and strategizing for the mechanical infrastructure critical to the client's operations.
Role Overview:
- Serve as an internal consultant within the operations engineering team, focusing on mechanical design and assessments for both new and existing assets.
- Spearhead the development of maintenance and replacement strategies for key mechanical systems, including hydraulic systems, cranes, and winches.
- Guarantee compliance with legislative standards by overseeing mechanical asset inspections and audits.
- Offer expert mechanical guidance to both technical and non-technical teams.
- Lead initiatives on reliability assessments and innovative solutions to improve mechanical infrastructure efficiency.
Candidate Profile:
- Holder of a BEng/MEng in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, with a preference for Chartered status or progress towards it.
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical engineering designs, compliance management, and project oversight.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with AutoCAD.
- Must possess a valid driving license.
