Role Purpose

At Passenger, we have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Events Coordinator to help organise and liaise our marketing and event activities.

With an exciting growth plan ahead, the ultimate aim is to deliver on our mission statement “We build technology to power sustainable transport connecting people and their communities”.

Who you are

This role would ideally suit an experienced Marketing or Events coordinator or someone who is starting their journey of marketing but has some events experience.

We are open to this role being below a standard working week (37.5 hours) and would like to understand your circumstances and how this role could work for you and Passenger. We are open to other working practices such as reduced hours or we have the unique ability to be able to split this role into two part-time roles for the right people.

Key responsibilities

The Marketing and Events Coordinator ensures that everything from events, campaigns and research are done correctly and on time. They support a department’s initiatives and coordinate the logistics while working with strategic partners.

What we are looking for

Your passion is in coordinating digital and traditional marketing, including posting marketing collateral within our communication channels, including our preferred social media platforms. You will get involved in coordinating email campaigns, and marketing events and liaising with the design team to ensure content is created in line with the marketing plan.

Following and being an advocate for Passenger’s brand guidelines, you will be able to liaise with internal teams, freelance developers and external preferred suppliers ensuring all content meets the brand look and tone of voice.

When the team attend conferences and events, you will be at the centre of liaising with the preferred suppliers for the event, ensuring all materials, everything and everyone is where they should be, whilst also planning for those unexpected eventualities.

You will have a keen interest and knowledge in researching market trends and be aware of our competitors to inform marketing strategies and help make effective decisions. You will also stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing.

Location

This is a hybrid or remote role. Our HQ is based in Bournemouth, BH1 which you will be required to visit around 4 times per year.
