We provide integrated and ground-breaking solutions for the civil engineering and construction sectors, with specialisms in rail, highways, airports, marine, defence, energy, water, and environmental infrastructure.

VolkerWessels UK has an opportunity for an Acting Treasury Manager to join their Treasury team in Hoddesdon on a fixed term basis for 6 months whilst a current team member is on sabbatical.

As the Acting Treasury Manager, you will be responsible for the line management of the Treasury Team and the operation of daily transactional treasury activity, cash management, bank account management, and bonds/bank guarantees.

About you

• Educated to degree level
• Qualified accountant/Treasury professional such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ACT
• At least 2 years of corporate Treasury, Cash or Financial Management experience
• Supervisory/management experience essential
• Previous exposure to senior level stakeholders
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Exposure to surety bonds/bank guarantees desirable but not essential
