Job description
My client, a successful main contractor specialising in industrial projects across the UK requires a Site Engineer for a £9m industrial development in Portsmouth. This is a freelance role for Aprox 10 months with an immediate start.
Site Engineer roles and responsibilities
* Maintaining excellent and effective working relationships with all subcontractors on site.
* working with main contractor responsible for overseeing Groundworkers
* Identify and resolve problems.
* Ensuring that the project works comply with the requirements of the contract specification and drawings etc and maintaining appropriate records.
Site Engineer requirements
* Appropriate technical knowledge and main contractor construction experience.
* Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant construction subject.
* Appropriate CSCS Card.
* Comprehensive experience as a Site Engineer working for a main contractor.
* Experience overseeing ground workers on industrial schemes up to £9 million in value
. Laptop with CAD and own kit
Site Engineer benefits
* £300 - £350 day. Depending on experience
* 7:30am - 5pm.
