Job description
In order to support and continue our growth in the UK, we are looking for a Predictive Maintenance Engineer to join our team of condition monitoring experts in the Liverpool region.
The role
As a PDM Engineer you will work on a wide range of customer sites, and on all types of rotating equipment: gas and steam turbines, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, electric motors, fans and other rotating equipment. You will use different techniques and technologies such as vibration analysis (Portable, online and wireless), thermal imaging and oil analyses to help support the customers reliability program.
Job description
- As a predictive maintenance engineer, you will support the maintenance department of your customers on a daily basis, by performing condition monitoring activities, primarily vibration measurements and analysis.
- Based on your current experience and technical knowledge of predictive maintenance you will be following an individual training, with a healthy mix of theoretical and practical on the job training.
- With the support of our senior engineers you will become more and more specialised in the world of condition monitoring.
- You grow from an initially supportive and executive to a more independent and advisory role.
- You detect new opportunities and respond to them with the technology that I-care has in its portfolio, thanks to our strong R & D department (real-time monitoring, web-based analyses, etc.).
Who are you?
- You have strong background and experience in Reliability
- A strong interest in technology, engineering and their innovative application in manufacturing industry is a must
- Having experience in Vibration Analysis and having a Cat 2 Certification of ISO 18436 is a plus.
- A healthy dose of communication skills and a love for working with like-minded colleagues and customers
- Seeing mobility and travelling as an opportunity, not as a burden
- Fluency in English is a must
