• Wear al l necessary personal protective equipment to perform job functi ons .

• Bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift , push, pull, climb ( l adders, stairs), balance, and/or crouch on a daily basis to accomplish work.
• Minimally must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance; may li ft over 25 pounds with or without assistance.
• Ability to work in environment with consistent loud noise and exposure to extreme temperatures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with contractors, commercial customers or similar strongly desired.
• Computer literacy with proficiency with MS Office applications
• Ability to work in a team environment and be willing to participate.
• Ability to function at an above average level in a technical environment.
• Prior experience using sales and/or inventory management software.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Branch Sales (Counter) Associate in our Rochester, NY location.

Position : Full time, day shift opportunity with great benefit options

Pay Range: $19-22 per hour doe.

Sales Center Associates are responsible for delivering quality customer service while maintaining a store the is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Always provides superior customer service through the daily execution of CE’s A6 Principles
• Seeks to understand the customer’s needs.
• Listens and responds promptly, yet knowledgeable to all questions.
• Demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers.
• Communicates information to customers regarding all stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application and warranty information related to CE’s products.
• Displays a keen understanding of local competitive offerings, recognizing and communicating the advantages of CE’s product offerings to customers.
• Solid understanding of current Marketing programs
• Ability to effectively communicate with diverse personalities and attitudes daily.
• Monitors inventory levels to ensure they are adequate to support sales and asks for special orders and other merchandise to support local market needs.
• Promote the sale of HVAC replacement components and aftermarket to products to our Deal Network and HVAC Contractors
• Ability to successfully upsell parts and components.
• Knowledge and awareness of replacement parts
• Ensures compliance with housekeeping standards to maintain cleanliness and organization of store and workstations.
• Maintains a safe and secure work environment, which may include conducting daily safety reviews, notating hazards, and correcting them.
• Adheres to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
