Job Title: Care Home Assistant Practitioner
Location: Lesmahagow
Salary: £15 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Personal Care:

Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Provide support for mobility and help with transfers.
Medication Management:

Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
Keep accurate records of medication administration.
Companionship:

Engage with residents in social activities and provide emotional support.
Foster a positive and friendly atmosphere within the care home.
Health Monitoring:

Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the nursing staff.
Take and record vital signs as needed.
Housekeeping:

Assist in maintaining a clean and tidy living environment for residents.
Support in meal preparation and serving.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a care or healthcare setting is essential
Must have successfully completed a CHAPS course
Compassionate and patient demeanor with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work well within a team and follow care plans effectively.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a care setting.
