Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner – GBP70,000 – GBP80,000 – Bracknell – 1x Per Month in Office – ACCA/CIMA/ACA
IN2 Consult are currently supporting a rapidly–growing, financial services business based in Bracknell on their recruitment of a Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner to join their vibrant finance team.
This role offers incredible flexibility, requiring travel to their office in Bracknell only once per month. This is an excellent opportunity to be a key point of contact for the entire business, working closely with non financial stakeholders as well as alongside the CFO.
This Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner role includes the following duties:
Financial Modelling:
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision–making and long–term planning.
- Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management for informed decision–making.
Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with cross–functional teams to understand business objectives and provide financial guidance.
- Act as a strategic advisor, influencing decision–makers with data–driven insights to achieve business goals.
PowerBI Expertise:
- Utilise PowerBI to create insightful and interactive dashboards for effective communication of financial information.
- Train and support teams in using PowerBI for real–time monitoring and reporting.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Provide variance analysis and actionable recommendations to address deviations from the budget.
Project Involvement:
- Play a pivotal role in financial aspects of key projects, providing financial guidance and ensuring the projects are financially viable.
- Conduct post–implementation reviews to assess the financial impact of completed projects.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess financial risks, proposing mitigation strategies to safeguard the financial health of the organization.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact financial performance.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Present financial information and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified with at least 2 years' PQE
- Ideally from a Financial Services Background
- Excellent Financial Modelling skills through the use of PowerBI
- Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to push back on stakeholders as and when appropriate
- Proven track record in improving processes
- Ability to work towards tight deadlines within a fast–paced environment
- Experience working on various projects within finance
- Strong commercial acumen and a 'can do' attitude
