About Our Client
- Our client are a global market leading organisation who specialise in the manufacturing and design industry. Due to recent success in leadership of the market, they are looking to recruit an interim role to support upcoming projects.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities are:
- Detailed planning of the space planned to be used for these functions
- Getting by in and feedback from the stakeholders of the teams involved in the moves
- Liaising with contractors to plan get quotes
- Working with chosen contractor to plan the works to be completed in the most efficient way and least impact on maintaining Business as usual
- Working with Health and Safety and Facilitates to determine impacts on both areas
- Communicating the expected timelines for the work to Manager and any other relevant stakeholders
- Collating quotes and presenting the options in a project plan to management for approval
- Ensuring that the correct H&S documentation is received from external vendors for works to begin
- Ensuring the area and access points are clear and ready ahead of works start date
- Provide weekly/monthly updates to manager/SLT/Stakeholders on status
The Successful Applicant
The Successful candidate will possess:
- Ability to manage external vendors to agreed quality standards and timelines
- Self-starter with logical, practical approach to site improvement activities (e.g. usability and functionality
of area once completed) - Proven project manager of office and manufacturing environment areas
- Troubleshoot issues that would impact completion dates or agreed deliverables.
- Ability to produce detailed project plans including financials and contingencies.
- Awareness of risk assessment, mitigation action and general H&S for projects in work
environments (e.g., areas surrounding will be in use by production and office staff). - Good level of PC literacy including Excel, ERP system, SharePoint navigation
