Job Description
Our client are looking for a proactive Finance Manager on a temporary basis for approximately 4 months. The role will report into the finance controller.
The key responsibilities for the Finance Management role are:
- Documenting the finance processes as the team prepares for the yearly statutory audit.
- While documenting the finance processes to test controls that are in place e.g., electronic, segregation of duty, to determine how improvements can be made.
- Support the UK statutory audits for Brand Management to ensure that the audits are completed by end of May 2024.
- Review internal controls and make recommendations for improvements.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- Audit experience either being audited or auditing within a UK based company.
- AAT qualified or partially ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong fundamental understanding of double entry accounting.
- Confident user of excel. Experience using Microsoft Dynamics is preferable but not required.
- Able to enter data quickly and accurately, keeping track of data in multiple systems at once.
- Bring a positive, high energy, can-do attitude to the team.
- Inquisitive in nature and always keen to learn more, not afraid to ask questions and use alternative means of communication than email to keep tasks moving forwards efficiently.
- Works well within a collaborative team.
