What you will do in your working day

As a Mechanical Degree Apprentice, you will be immersed in a hands-on engineering role within Siemens Energy. You will work closely with our experienced engineers, gaining exposure to our diverse product range, and actively contributing to live projects that have a tangible impact on our operations and our customers.

A typical day could involve:

• Assisting in the design, testing, and modification of mechanical components.
• Collaborating with team members on project planning and execution.
• Participating in technical discussions and problem-solving activities.
• Applying theoretical knowledge to practical solutions.

The training you will be getting

This role provides an excellent opportunity to make an impact, by contributing to the development of innovative, energy-efficient solutions that help shape the future of our energy landscape. 

We’ll also provide support to complete the Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship Standard, enabling you to develop your skills and further your career within our company.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

This will be a 5 year Apprenticeship where you will complete the Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship Standard. This opens up many career routes within Siemens Energy.
