Job description
A local authority based in East London is seeking an Employment Lawyer for an initial period of three months. This is a temporary role.
The successful Employment Lawyer will be required to handle a mixed caseload of both contentious and non-contentious matters. Non contentious work includes disciplinary and grievance issues, unfair dismissal, discrimination, drafting employment contracts, TUPE matters, whistleblowing, equal pay, and redundancy issues. This is a hybrid working role so office-based attendance will be required. Previous local government experience would be advantageous. Candidates must have a current practising certificate to be considered.
