ID Systemsare an established industry leader providing single sourced solutions within the field of MEICAT Engineering. Our areas of expertise include hazardous areas, PLC/SCADA, telemetry integration, electrical engineering design, installation, project management and preventive maintenance. Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking to recruit Telemetry Technicians to join our rapidly growing teams in our Inverness, Cumbernauld & Edinburgh offices.

As the Telemetry Technician your duties & responsibilities will include:

Top end web based testing of telemetry projectsCompletion of test documentationHardware FAT and WAT testing of telemetry systemsSoftware configuration of Telemetry outstations to clients exacting requirements including RTU code, Modbus implementationCompilation of mimics and signal configuration listings for import to Client’s Top End systemWorking closely with Telemetry Engineers to assist with any project needsPreparation of test records and O&M documentationResponsibility of the telemetry workshop areaGood housekeeping of the test and stock areasWorking with the stores staff

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

• You must hold a full driving licence as the position could involve travel throughout Scotland
• The ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good Working knowledge of Safety, Health Environment and Quality Procedures
• Strong communication skills all levels with the client, suppliers, contractors and design team
• Must be able to plan and prioritise workload effectively
• Excellent client service focus flexible approach to work
