HGV Technician
Enfield
Night Shift (Any 5 out of 7 nights) 22:00 to 06:00 hours
£65,600 + very attractive benefits
We are seeking skilled and motivated HGV Technicians to join a team of professionals dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the performance of their heavy goods vehicle fleet. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
- As a part of your role, you will be responsible for maintaining the company's HGVs. This includes ensuring that all work is completed on time and in compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Responsible for carrying out all breakdowns and reactive works to high standards and within the given timeframe.
- Accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical faults with the HGVs, communicate technical information to your teammates, and escalate any issues to relevant managers.
- Ensure that all work is accurately documented. Additionally, you'll demonstrate good diagnostic and fault-finding skills ensuring first-time fix.
Ideally, you'll have previous experience in a fast-paced distribution environment. Hold an NVQ Level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance or equivalent and desirably hold your CPC. Training and funding can however be supported to achieve your HGV Class 1 license after a successful length of service.
