Job description


Dorset HealthCare are expanding their Facilities Support Service Team. We have 1 Specialist Cleaner/Removals vacancies within this friendly team, to be based in the Poole area.

The Specialist Cleaner role is a diverse role. One day you could be assisting with a site’s deep clean to then a theatre’s deep clean and on another day helping with removals. As part of this role, you will be working as part of a supportive team where training is provided, and uniform is supplied. This is a physically demanding role and will require strength, stamina and excellent communication skills.

There will be times when you will be required to cover all Trust sites located across Dorset, so it is essential that you hold a clean, full UK Driver’s License and work vehicles are provided, although not for personal use and will need to be returned daily to the relevant base.

This role is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week. The hours are 8am – 4pm with some flexibility if required

This Specialist Cleaner role would include a planned programme of 'deep cleans’ of wards, kitchens, and theatres amongst other areas, transferring furniture from sites across the Trust as well as supporting sites with other cleaning duties including deep cleaning infected areas and regular cleaning duties for the site.

Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
