Mechanical Fitter
Glossop
Mon - Fri (Days)
£35,000
We have a role available for a Mechanical Fitter to work in Glossop.
You will be working for a leading chemical manufacturer!
Main duties for the Mechanical Fitter:
* Install, repair, and maintain machinery per specifications.
* Repair components like pumps, motors, valves, and conduct equipment overhauls.
* Adhere to safety protocols and collaborate with the maintenance and production teams.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and create/update SOPs.
Candidate Requirements for the Maintenance Technician:
The ideal candidate will be a time served maintenance fitter/mechanical fitter or maintenance Technician.
* Installation and repair of pumps.
* Steam boiler experience.
* Working on a chemical plant.
* Threaded pipework, valve replacement experience.
