WCA is seeking a skilled Virtualization Engineer to join our Professional Services team to focus on the design and installation of virtualization infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining virtualization software, as well as providing technical support and training to end-users.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure virtualization software and hardware, including servers, storage devices, and network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that the virtualization infrastructure is properly integrated with other systems and services.
• Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting and problem resolution. • Monitor virtualization infrastructure performance and capacity, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to virtualization infrastructure installation and configuration.
• Evaluate and test new virtualization technologies and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in virtualization engineering, with a focus on installation and configuration.
• Experience with virtualization software such as VMware and Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of networking and storage infrastructure related to virtualization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) in virtualization a plus
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

Salary & Benefits

Duration: Permanent

Hours: Monday-Friday. 8:00am-5:00pm
