Job description
Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join a specialist manufacturing plant in the North West. The successful Maintenance Technician must be time served Electrically – this is an essential requirement.
The company’s product range is geared around sustainability and green technologies.
Key aspects of the Maintenance Technician position include –
- You’ll be joining a small friendly team – they’re looking for someone who is willing to learn, shares information and is a genuine team player
- Knowledge of instrumentation would be useful, as would mechanical understanding/appreciation
- Working on Electrical, Instrumentation & control, mechanical, building and structural equipment and systems
- Knowledge of some of the following – electrical controls, PLCs, VSDs, servo motors, HMI or motor control
- Knowledge of DCS systems such DeltaV would be advantageous
- The role is currently 4 on/4 off continuous on days only. There is a possibility that this could change to 2 days/2 nights/4 off. There’s nothing imminent happening but the Maintenance Manager wanted this flagging so it’s transparent before Maintenance Technician’s apply
- The bonus scheme is paid on basic (not including shift uplift) and pays up to 6% of salary per year
- Overtime is paid at x1.6 and the Maintenance Manager estimates the successful Maintenance Technician could earn £10-15k in overtime per year
The successful Maintenance Technician will be based on site in the North West and the plant is commutable from the following places – Warrington, St. Helens, Liverpool, Runcorn, Widnes, Speke & Ellesmere Port.
