The successful applicant will be highly experienced in excellent diary management, national and international travel arrangements including visa applications as well as event management. You will be a team player and also able to work autonomously. Responsibilities will include diary management, complex travel arrangements, team meetings and away days, making arrangements for and receiving international visitors and dealing with matters of the strictest confidence. You will have excellent people and communication skills, a professional and helpful manner and resilience in dealing with multiple conflicting matters and meetings in a fast-changing environment. No two days will be the same so this role will suit someone who enjoys an interesting and challenging role and being an important part of a big team in a world class centre of excellence. You will be based in the Gibson Building, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG as your normal place of work. Three onsite days in the office will be required which are Monday and Tuesday and also, preferably, Wednesday, otherwise Thursday, with the opportunity of two days working from home.
