Shift Engineer (Datacentre) – Dagenham – Salary: £52,000 + 10% Bonus
We are looking for a talented Shift Engineer to join our datacentre team. As a Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our datacentre operates smoothly and efficiently around the clock.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring and maintaining the datacentre’s power, cooling, and security systems.
Responding to alarms and resolving any issues that arise.
Conducting regular checks and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
Working closely with other members of the datacentre team to ensure smooth operations.
Updating documentation and procedures as needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a datacentre or similar critical environment.
Strong knowledge of power, cooling, and security systems.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
The ability to work rotating shift patterns.
A proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
