Job description
• Client’s Global Technology & Enterprise Platforms (GTEP) is a key technology division of client, providing critical infrastructure solutions and support to the bank globally and employing approximately 2000 full-time employees and contractors, across 15 countries. The team is seeking a Technical Analyst and the primary purpose of this role is to build a new Microsoft Exchange environment and facilitate the migration from the existing one to the new one to address currency exposure.

• Write a technical design document, implementation plan, and create diagram of the existing and future Exchange environment.
• Install MS Exchange, including all pre-perquisites in a pre-production environment and production environment.
• Document and execute functional and non-functional test cases to validate the readiness of the environment.
• Migrate the mail flow from the old to the new environment.
• Collaborate with Windows OS and Networking team during the project execution. Provide status update of the progress.
• 10+ years of working experience as a Technical Analyst.
• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange 2016, 2019.
• 2-3+ years of hands-on experience with creating and running PowerShell scripts.
• 6-8+ years of experience with supporting and troubleshooting Windows Server (2016, 2019).
• Foundational knowledge of Active Directory.
• Microsoft Office 365 experience.
• Azure Active Directory experience.
• Microsoft Certifications for Windows and Active Directory.
• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate and work closely with external vendors.
• Self-motivated and proven ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work within tight deadlines.
• Excellent analytical, logical, and organizational skills.
• The ideal candidate would meet both the must-have and nice-to-have requirements. They should also have an internal drive and self-management skills to make rational decision on their own. Strong collaboration abilities are also important, as they will be working closely with other teams within the Bank.
• Post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related experience in the IT field.
