Summary:
Position: Full time / Part Time / Temporary and Short hours to suit school pick up

Qualifications:
NVQ, BTEC L4, L3, L2 in Childcare and Education 0-8years

Summary of Main Duties:
Qualified Early Years Educators work with children aged between 3 months and 5 years. They are committed to supporting growth in children's mind, bodies and soul through an integrated individualised curriculum that challenges and elevates all aspects of the child.
As part of the duties, they plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans for activities in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. They use the Montessori Method of Learning to carry out activities in line with the child's passion. This involves developing, delivering and preparing work schemes and lessons plans to motivate children and imaginatively using resources to help them learn in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage through play. The Early Years Educators will implement core lesson plans to meet the individual and specific emotional, educational, social and cognitive requirements of babies, toddlers and preschool. They will work in partnership with parents/carers. To have a deep insight and be guided to organise each day's activities that provide children with varieties of experiences, opportunities aimed at developing their curiosity, initiative and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge:
EYFS Framework, Safeguarding, Safer Recruitment and Health/Safety procedures very essential. Food Hygiene, Paediatric and Resuscitation, Childcare practices and understanding.

Experience:
2-5years post qualification experience (excluding training period)

DBS, References highly essential. Only serious applicant need apply. Work trial will be carried out to assess adult/child interaction, skills and knowledge base.

Apprenticeship training available for Levels2/3 in Childcare and Education. Applicants on JSA to be favoured.
