he Role: Fibre Engineer / Splicer
Location: Regional base across Hertfordshire and Oxfordshire
Package: Around £45,000 plus company vehicle / kit
We need a fibre engineer to join a build programme and you’ll be working for an expanding partner to an alt-net across the Herts and Oxon region.
Ideally with SA001 & SA002 qualifications and solid knowledge of fibre based networks using PIA and new duct.
Hybrid role between field and office, and we can either look at bringing someone in on a permanent basis and provide all kit – tester, splicer, van etc. or we would also consider bringing someone in on a LTD company day rate, if you are a fully kitted out engineer with van / tools etc.
That option would be a day rate, with numbers to be discussed.
This is the first year of a multi-year contract and client relationship is good so no worries with stability and the chance to make a base for the next few years in an industry that has been shaky.
Solid package, permanent role with good stability and paying around £45,000 plus vehicle and benefits.
Any Gigaclear or BDUK network experience would be great.
