Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dermatologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of skin conditions and diseases, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer.
- Perform surgical procedures, such as biopsies, excisions, and laser treatments, with precision and care.
- Prescribe medications, topical treatments, and other therapies tailored to each patient’s specific needs.
- Provide guidance and advice on skincare, preventive measures, and the management of chronic skin conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in dermatology through continuous professional development.
- Educate patients and the wider community on skin health and wellness.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine, followed by a specialization in Dermatology.
- Valid GMC registration with a license to practice in the UK.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a strong emphasis on dermatological practice.
- Proficiency in performing standard dermatological procedures.
- Excellent diagnostic skills and a patient-centred approach to care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information in an understandable way.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Experience with cosmetic dermatology.
- Participation in dermatological research or publications.
