Job Overview:
Axon Moore are delighted to be working with a long term client who have an excellent finance team based in Harrogate who are once again looking to bolster their finance team with the addition of a Liquidity Analyst.
Reporting to the Head of Group Treasury, you will be working closely with the Finance Planning & Analysis team to support them in delivering timely and accurate liquidity insight to the Advisory business. This will include understanding the key business drivers and using these to support the creation of fact-based cash flow budgets and forecasts and production of key liquidity metrics and dashboards.
The role will also support the wider Treasury team in its daily activities including bank reconciliations and administration of bank accounts as well as dealing with a degree of ad hoc requests - requiring a keen ability to manage workload and deadlines.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Location: Harrogate
Main duties:
- Ensure that liquidity performance is measured, analysed, explained and understood through the delivery of key performance indicators on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis as appropriate.
- Work with other platform finance colleagues to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Understand liquidity results and trends within the business, providing analysis that allows leadership teams to deliver on their operational responsibilities and take actions to drive performance.
- Work with new acquisitions to understand their cash performance.
- Have an awareness of the profitability of the differing streams of business and the linkage to liquidity.
- Support the successful execution of the Advisory strategy.
- Provide the relevant liquidity financial to support the budget and forecast processes, working closely with the business and Advisory FP&A team.
- Work across the Advisory Finance and wider leadership teams, including the Acquisitions team, to deliver best in class cash forecasting, including liquidity, leverage and financial risk appetites.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis and back testing to ensure continuous improvement to cash flow forecasting.
- Responsible for the TC2.4 model for the Advisory Platform.
- Perform bank reconciliations and support the wider Treasury team.
- Support the audit programme (internal/external) as appropriate.
- Support ad hoc projects as they arise either within the businesses or in connection with the requirements of the Segment or Platform CFOs.
Knowledge Required:
- Part/Fully Qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
- Good people skills and the ability to manage both up and down the management structure
- Understanding of management accounting, financial performance reporting and financial control.
- Knowledge/experience of cash flow reporting and analysis
- Previous experience of working in financial service environment (desirable).
- Excellent Excel skills
