Job Responsibilities Plan and deliver effective and efficient programmes that ensure sound outcomes for student nurses, in partnership with programme leads at UWE. Deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment processes at undergraduate level 4, 5 and 6 with a commitment to maintaining a positive learning culture. Hold responsibility for collating and confirming student achievement of proficiencies and programme outcomes for individual students practice placements and on their e-portfolio Work in partnership and collaborate with students, and practice placement colleagues to ensure student nurses are safe and that their experience on clinical placement is positive and meets the requirements of the apprenticeship programme. Make and record objective, evidence-based decisions on conduct, proficiency and achievement, and recommendations for progression, drawing on student records and other resources following communication with Practice Assessors Communicate and collaborate with practice assessors at scheduled relevant points within practice modules throughout the programme Set and mark assignments/examinations/assessments and manage failing students as appropriate. Maintain records of work and progress, including teaching files and e-portfolio Participate in student nurse recruitment and induction activities, e.g., interviews and open days etc., as appropriate. Participate in the development and review of curriculum/cross-UCS initiatives. Participate in internal staff appraisal and other staff development programmes, as appropriate. Maintain effective and professional relationships with employers and UCS partners as appropriate.
