We have an exciting opportunity for you if you have experience of mental health, would like to make a difference in local young people's mental health services by sharing your views and you are looking for an exciting volunteering opportunity!

Your experiences are key in shaping the future of the young people's mental health services in Essex. Young people’s mental health is hugely important and you can help to change local services for the better. If you have experience of accessing local mental health services and you are aged 23 or under, please get in touch!

Healthwatch Essex is commissioned by Essex County Council and our vision is to be an independent voice for the people of Essex

Online volunteering opportunity for people currently residing in Essex.

Can students travel to the opportunity via public transport?

Yes

What attributes would your ideal volunteer have?

The volunteer would be confident meeting new people and in sharing their views with other young people and professionals. They would be passionate about mental health and helping support other people.

What skills would the volunteer gain?

The volunteer would gain skills in public speaking, being able to work with others, creativity due to some of the opportunities available and knowledge on how mental health services work.
