Job description
We have a unique opportunity for an R&D chemist/Materials scientist to join a growing agrochemical company. You will make a significant contribution to the R&D effort to bring novel products to market. A background in product development would be an advantage, as would someone with an interest in biopolymers or sustainable polymer coatings, but other markets will be considered.
Duties:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new chemical products.
Conduct experiments, analyse data, and optimize formulations.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
Troubleshoot and address any product-related challenges.
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Job Specification
A background in chemistry or material sciences.
BSc/Mres in a relevant field
A demonstrable skillset in up-to-date literature searching skills using professional platforms.
Experienced in applying the findings to practical, real-world application.
A problem-solver - resourceful when converting ideas into practise.
Versatile, able to apply their mind and hands to a variety of short- and longer-term goals.
Appetite for the fast-moving dynamic of a small company and its collaborative spirit

Due to the location of the site, you must have your own transport and be able to drive.
