Job Title: Supply Chain Planning Manager
Contract: Full Time Permanent
Location: Milton Keynes - Office Based
Salary: £36,000 - £40,000

The Procurement and Supply Chain Division at SF Recruitment are currently working with a well-established manufacturing client based in Milton Keynes, to add an experienced Supply Chain / Planning Manager to their team.

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will report directly into the operations manager and work closely alongside the wider Supply Chain, Production and Procurement teams. You will be responsible for managing the smooth daily operations across the supply chain and production planning functions. It will be your teams responsibility to ensure that all projects run to agreed timeframes without any delays.

As a Supply Chain Planning Manager, your daily duties will include:

- Overlooking and managing the production schedule and small team.
- Ensuring quality control and standards are achieved and maintained.
- Adhering to safety and quality standards as well as business policies and processes.
- Ensuring the required materials and resources are available to meet customer requirements and production requirements.
- Stock control management - ensuring in demand products are available; investigating into aged, dead and slow moving stock and also ensuring that capacity is not exceeded.
- Analysing data and reports to support with future forecasting, trends and productivity.
- Seeking continuous improvement opportunities to streamline the end-to-end production process and increase efficiency.
- Carrying out regular supplier and customer service reviews to ensure KPI's and SLA's are achieved and future demand planning is correct.
- Liaising with customers, hauliers and suppliers directly for any escalations, ensuring these are prioritised and resolved efficiently and effectively.

The successful Supply Chain Manager will have previous experience in a leading Supply Chain / Production Planning role. You will need to have strong interpersonal skills to be able to build rapport at all levels, and a natural leader who builds trust and respect amongst their team.
