Job description
Area Sales Manager required to join a manufacturer in Crewkerne, Somerset.
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for contacting customers regularly, building strong relations by visiting them, having regular discussions via phone, video conferences and meeting at exhibitions.
The successful Area Sales Manager can come from any business development / sales background as full product training will be provided. Any technical or engineering background would be advantageous.
The region is dependent on you experience and location.
Package - £38,000 - £42,000
- Company car (depending on experience)
- Quarterly bonus
- 35 hours per week
- End of year company bonus
Role - New business development and account management
- Growing profitable sales within your assigned region/accounts (existing products and/or new products)
- Contribute to business planning and sales strategy.
- Responding to quotes & other customer requests within 24 hours if practically possible
- Analysis of all sales-related enquiries and creation of opportunities in the CRM system where appropriate.
- Establishing strong relationships with internal and external customers and other departments within the business.
- Full product training provided.
- Either hybrid (Office in Crewekerne) or fully remote.
Requirements - Proven experience in a sales / business development - Business Development Manager / Business Development Executive / Sales Manager / Sales Executive or similar
- Full product training provided.
- Any technical or engineering background would be advantageous.
- Full UK Driving license
- Remote or hybrid depending on location
