Lancaster Medical School (LMS) is a flourishing, innovative and vibrant Division of the Faculty of Health and Medicine, whose guiding principle is to deliver excellence in medical training and health related research. Our highly ranked degree programmes in the areas of medicine and sports and exercise science involve the delivery of research-led teaching and learning to 500+ undergraduate students and a growing population of research and taught postgraduate students. We are looking for candidates whose research interests are broadly aligned with research themes of LMS, including joining a research group aligned to their expertise. You will be expected to take on directorship of the clinical anatomy learning centre in the medical school. We are looking for a dynamic individual to join us and become a part of the intellectual and collective life of the School. In return, we can offer you a friendly research and teaching environment that strongly supports the individual needs of each employee and actively promotes a healthy work-life balance.

The Faculty is committed to family-friendly and flexible working policies and has held a Silver Athena SWAN award since 2014 in recognition of its good employment practice undertaken to address gender equality in higher education and research.
