Recruit4staff are proud to be working with a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Warehouse Operative to work Day shifts at their leading facility in Shrewsbury.

For the successful Warehouse Operative our client is offering;

• Competitive hourly rate - £12 per hour
• Days based position, 7am-4pm with a 12pm finish on Fridays
• Temporary to Permanent role
• Free on site parking

The role – Warehouse Operative;

• Working in a busy Despatch department
• Booking products in & out
• Use of the Despatch Computer based systems
• Organise and plan daily transport requirements, booking in the required amount of vehicles with the Transport Manager
• Stock control
• General housekeeping of working areas
• Keeping Production Planning updated on delays with transport
• Sending delivery notes to customers advising on products being shipped
• Liaising with the Production Team on the progress of parts
• Arranging import & export documentation 

What our client is looking for in a Warehouse Operative:

• Demonstrable Despatch / Logistics based experience
• Experience using Computer based systems
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel / Word / Outlook etc)
