Engineering Store Keeper
Dover Stagecoach
A vacancy has arisen for a Storekeeper Based at Dover Depot to assist the Engineering, and Workshop Manager on the needs for parts and material required for the immediate and planned future. This position can be demanding to assist in continually running a tight public service.
You must have good experience with computer systems. You will be required to understand and use spreadsheets, reports etc. and will be trained to use the companies nationally used system EAMS.
You will be responsible for ordering parts for vehicles, and general depot running materials. You will also be responsible for the upkeep, and stock checking of your own store, to keep in line with company procedures and standards.
Working in Dover is a great opportunity to work on one of the most modern fleets in the country, various vehicle types which will give you a good chance to gain knowledge and experience with the direction these modern vehicles are heading in.
The successful candidate will be a motivated team player who can work effectively unsupervised, be diligent, use their own initiative, and handle well under pressure. Communication skills are also a big part of working with the team on site, suppliers and vehicle manufacturers.
