About Our Client
Based in Fareham, my client are a successful manufacturing and production business within a fast-paced environment. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Management Accountant to join their ranks.
Job Description
Management Accountant:
* Utilise the standard cost model for SAP to calculate costs.
* Thoroughly review Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings for errors before initiating costing processes.
* Accurately configure purchased goods settings prior to cost determination.
* Verify the precision of master data in the costing/financial system.
* Monitor and report cost variances on a monthly basis.
* Approve system pricing and validate price sourcing against QAF or Purchasing files.
* Manage the tracking and reporting of newly launched programs for quick analysis.
* Assist in creating Financial Evaluation Packs (FEPs) for quoting new business opportunities.
* Collaborate cross-functionally within the business to provide FEP and financial analysis data as part of the business team.
* Support change requests and intercompany requests within the business team.
* Monitor Product Cost Optimisation (PCO), collaborating with the Continuous Improvement Team (CIT) to facilitate these initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
Management Accountant:
- Fully AAT qualified or QBE
- Experience in a production environment
- Working within a finance department
- SAP experience and confident in usage
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong computer skills and aptitude in Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently (self starter)
- Strong organisational skills
