Job description
What will I be doing?
Suez Strategic Goals are, People Planet and Profit. As a Suez Regional Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team working towards contributing to achieving these goals. You will be responsible for an established team who manage a recycling and processing facilities in the North of England to deliver against both Local Authority and Commercial customer contracts. You will need to build and strengthen established relationships with clients and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with our contracts and achieve and exceed their expectations.
Employee engagement is also important to Suez and you will champion both local and national initiatives to support this. You will manage, motivate and develop your team to ensure delivery of the agreed objectives and high standards. As the sites and facilities are regulated by environmental legislation you will be responsible for making sure you team are managing in compliance with environmental and health & safety standards.
You will be responsible for P&L, budgeting and capital expenditure within your region and as continuous improvement is built into Suez ethos, you will drive efficiencies whilst mainlining high standards of operation to meet the relevant contractual and operational targets.
What are the requirements?
You will have a proven background and experience of managing and being accountable for a complex, multi-site operations and demonstrate the ability to deliver business performance including developing and implementing opportunities to improve growth . You will need to have extensive experience in contract management , PFI Contract experience is highly desirable. You will be a charismatic leader of diverse teams from operations to middle management.
